The Church of Notre-Dame is a 17thcentury Dominican church designed by the planner of Bordeaux Pierre-Michel Duplessy, and Mathieu Labat. It is noted for its ornamented Jesuit Baroque façade sculpted by Pierre Berwuin and his sons, with pine-cone shaped turrets and a bas-relief of Virgin Mary giving the rosary to St Dominic above the door. The colonnaded façade also has 4 statues of saints - St. Ambrose, St. Gregory, St. Jerome, and St. Augustine, and 4 reliefs of Dominican popes. The interiors are simpler, featuring elegant wrought iron work, stunning stained glass windows, religious paintings by André Jean, and gilded bas-reliefs of The Ascension of the Lord and The Assumption of Mary in the choir.
Once attached to the church as its cloisters, the Cour Mably and its Chapter House today host exhibitions.
