Housed in the 17thcentury Palazzo Volpi, the Civic Art Gallery exhibits local art from the Middle Ages to the 20thcentury, with a good collection of Renaissance works from Como. From the Monastero di Santa Margherita frescoes to abstract works by Mario Radice and Carla Badiali, the collection showcases diverse styles. It also has an archive of 20th century architectural drawings.
