Housed in the Renaissance style Palazzo Lucini, the Archaeological Museum of Como showcases excavated finds from the prehistoric era to the Middle Ages which trace the evolution of the region over time. The chronologically arranged collection has artifacts of the Golasecca culture of the 1stmillennium BC from the Ca'Morta necropolis, Bronze Age weapons, Roman era objects from Caesar's Novum Comum, Egyptian sarcophagi, Greek vases, gems, glassware, coins and small bronzes.
