Located in a restored house built in 1860 during the National Revival period, the Ethnographic Museum in Varna offers insights into the everyday lives of the people who lived in this city during the 19th and 20th centuries. It showcases traditional costumes, accessories, crafts, grain storage containers, dyolmedzha (old plough), ritual bread, Bulgarian wedding customs, and survaknitsa - curled branch of a cornel tree decorated with coins, popcorn, dried fruits, and ribbons, used by children to tap family members on the back to wish them good health and happiness. You can also see a recreated luxurious city home from the turn of the century, with a vestibule, drawing room, bedroom, and kitchen.
