Established in the year 1923, the Naval Museum or the National Maritime Museum in the Sea Gardens of Varna is dedicated to the Bulgarian Navy. The museum traces the evolution and development of the navy since its establishment in 1879, and its engagement in various wars. The indoor exhibition showcases documents, pictures, maps, anchors, uniforms, figure-heads, swords, cannons and firearms, and ship models. The yard outside has the legendary Bulgarian torpedo boat Druzki which won the 1912 Balkan War.
