Aspahurov Most is one of the largest bridges in the Balkans, connecting the Asparuhovo district to the rest of Varna over the canals linking the Black Sea to Lake Varna.

Aspahurov Most is one of the largest bridges in the Balkans, connecting the Asparuhovo district to the rest of Varna over the canals linking the Black Sea to Lake Varna. Designed by Dimitar Dimitrov and built in 1973-'76, the bridge has a continuous steel beam along the middle span, with reinforced concrete approaches. The 2.05 kilometre long bridge lies at a height of 50 metres, and is a popular spot for bungee jumping. The bridge is supported by 38 pillars, each of which can carry 2400 tons. One of the most popular routes in the city, it sees a daily traffic of around 10,000 vehicles each day.
