It is best known for its marble Scalinata dell'Angelo or Angel Staircase with wrought iron railings, decorated with statues of angels. The altar is made entirely in Sicilian jasper, inlaid with gold and silver. The frescoes by Sebastiano Lo Monaco, Giovanni Tuccari and Matteo Desiderato are also noteworthy.
