The Herborarium Museum explores the history, classification and usage of herbs as well as their preservation. The old pharmacy room displays different varieties of medicinal plants and a collection of apothecary vases from Caltagirone and Sciacca, along with 19thcentury pharmaceutical instruments and tools. The room of spices draws visitors into the world of spices, teas and flavorings. The Tisaneria is where you can relax, sipping herbal teas and infusions made from local and exotic herbs.
