Located in the complex of the Ministry of Culture, the Museum of Socialist Art presents the art history of the Bulgarian communist regime. It showcases a large collection of sculptures and paintings that date back to 1944-1989, from the introduction of Communism to the end of totalitarian regime in Bulgaria. Spread across an area of more than 7500 square meters, it has an indoor area for paintings and fine arts, and a sprawling outdoor sculpture park. The video hall features movies that explore the communist period.
