The Palazzo dell'Acquedotto Pugliese or Palace of the Apulian Aqueduct was designed by Cesare Brunetti, Michele Salvati and Duilio Cambellotti in Pugliese Romanesque style to reflect the theme of hydraulic engineering. Built with Trani stone, the detailing, fixtures, and furnishings reflect local masonry and craftsmanship. Of note are the tempera on canvas with representations of horses, swallows and water flow, and a tapestry depicting the life cycle of water from its source to its distribution. There is a museum on the Apulian Aqueduct, a conference room and a library with multimedia and photography archives, along with administrative offices.
