Marine Parade is a 2.8 kilometre long oceanfront promenade in Napier that stretches from the Centennial Gardens in the north to the State Highway in the south.

Marine Parade is a 2.8 kilometre long oceanfront promenade in Napier that stretches from the Centennial Gardens in the north to the State Highway in the south. The pine tree-lined boulevard features gardens, fountains, mini golf, children's playground, picnic areas, statues and spas. Its biggest highlight is the iconic 1.5 metre tall statue of "Pania of the Reef", a figure from Māori mythology and a symbol of the city. Other attractions along the stretch are the National Aquarium of New Zealand, Napier Prison, MTG Hawke's Bay, Sunken Gardens, and Spirit of Napier or Gilray Fountain. Stroll along the breezy boulevard for beautiful views of the ocean and Art Deco buildings.
