Hans Egede Church is an evangelical Lutheran church that was consecrated in 1978 on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of Nuuk. Designed by architect Ole Nielsen, the serene white façade is simple and elegant. The modern interiors feature an altar panel with built-in lighting, and a Frobenius organ built by Gunnar Fabricius Husted in collaboration with architect Jørn Blinkenberg Willadsen and organist Robert Benjamin Hofstetter. The classical style font is made in Greenland marble. The church also displays a model of the Elisabeth yacht.
