Spread over 36 hectares of lush greenery, the University Botanical Garden in Varna is the only ecopark in Bulgaria which has a combination of artificial and natural eco-systems. Its collection includes over 300 varieties of exotic trees and bushes, including ginkgo biloba, sea oaks, parrotia Persica, oak trees, mamont trees and more. The park is also home to more than 100 species of herbaceous plants. The spectacular array of irises comprises more than 250 types, while the rose garden has over 70 sweet-smelling varieties. The Academic Jockey Club of the University Botanical Garden offers services like horse riding lessons, convertible cars, tours with carriages, etc.
