The Alnes Lighthouse on Godøy island was erected in 1852 to guide fishing boats of the Alnes village. The present 27 metre tall white and red lighthouse is from 1876, and has a small museum, café, and exhibition hall where local art is displayed. The galley and the tower are open to tourists from May through October.
