Located 25 minutes to the southwest of Nelson, the Gardens of the World capture the nature of flora from all around the world. Spread over 2.4 hectares, it has separate zones for different geographical regions such as New Zealand, Australia, Africa, America, the Orient and Europe. There are also formal rose gardens, herbarium, amphitheatre, water garden, fountains, and rhododendron walk. It is a great setting for picnics, parties, and weddings.
