The Catacomb of Phaneromeni Church in Larnaca is an underground two-chambered rock cave that was originally a royal monolithic tomb dating back to the Phoenician times. A medieval church was built over it, which was replaced by the newer early 20th century church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The church is believed to have magical healing powers. There is a marble mausoleum next to it.
