A second summit at a height of 329 metres has a monument to the New Zealand Centennial of 1940, featuring two large bronze figures representing 'History' and 'The Thread of Life' by F. W. Sturrock and F. W. Staub. There are several hiking and biking trails such as the Start Loop, the Dog Leg, Happy Hooker, Big Rock and Gum Drops.
