Housed in the underground old water station that used to supply drinking water to the city in the 19th century, the Valencia History Museum traces the history of the city since its founding in 138 BC by the Romans. The reservoir is itself an architectural marvel made entirely of brick, with 250 columns lining the walkways. The museum presents chronologically arranged exhibits of archaeological artifacts, photographs, documents, and multimedia.
