Housed in a former hospital, the Fallas Museum is dedicated to the history and celebration of Las Fallas, the traditional festival of Valencia that commemorates Saint Joseph and is known for its mascaletas (fireworks) and insane pyrotechnics. Each year, one ninot (satirical effigy) is saved from being set ablaze, and is preserved here in the museum. Apart from this, the museum also displaus posters, photographs, videos and other paraphernalia of Fallas celebrations since 1934.
