Located on the coast bordering the Baltic Sea, the Rocca Al Mare Open Air Museum is a window into Estonian rural life of yore. Spread over 72 hectares, it presents a life-sized reconstruction of an 18th century village with 14 farms and 80 buildings including barns, wind and water mills, a church, inn, school, and fire station from North, from North, South and West Estonia as well as the islands. Dive into a different era in Estonian history as you explore the different rural settings, and see the different architectural styles of the houses. Learn about the changes in rural lifestyle and professions over the past 300 years.
