Town Hall Square, Tallinn

The center of the city and the one place you must visit is the Town Hall Square in Tallinn.

The center of the city and the one place you must visit is the Town Hall Square in Tallinn. In the 13th - 14th century, it was officially the center of the Lower Town. This has been a bustling market place since medieval times, and continues to be a hub of activity. It has several cafes, and offers fun and excitement all year long. In summers, the square hosts live concerts, street shows, fairs and other events. During winter, a magical Christmas market is set up here around a giant spruce tree. The winter market is alone worth a trip to the city.
