Built in 1909-'16, the Nuremberg Palace of Justice houses the appellate court, regional court, local court, and the public prosecutor's office. However, it is best known as the site of the Nuremberg Trials from 1945-'49, which were conducted in courtroom no 600 in the eastern wing. The attic has a Nuremberg Trials Memorium which presents historical information about the cases.
