The Basilica of Saint Pius X, better known as the Underground Basilica, is part of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes.

The Basilica of Saint Pius X, better known as the Underground Basilica, is part of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Completed in 1957 to designs by Pierre Vago, the cavernous church is almost entirely underground. Its main highlight is the set of 52 gemmaux on the walls.
