Established in 1971, the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre (aka De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre) is a captive breeding and conservation facility for South African cheetahs and other endangered species. Located on the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountain range, the 65 hectare complex provides a natural and protected habitat for animals which include wild dogs, brown hyenas, Riverine rabbits, and Cape vultures. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, visitors can join the staff as they go around feeding the animals on a 3-4 hour trip.
