The Torre Porta a Terra is all that remains of the Porta a Terra, a 14thcentury gate that led into the medieval city through the fortifications. The 23 metre high tower, previously known as Porta Reial, today houses a multimedia museum with a rotating exhibition and a miniature model of Alghero's Centro Storico. The terrace on the second floor offers panoramic views of the city.
