The 906 metre tall Mount Pantokrator is the highest peak in Corfu and a popular pilgrim spot. It lies 30 kms to the north-east of Corfu and can be accessed by driving through Strinilas, Petaleia and Perama, or hiking up from Perithia. On top is the 17th century monastery of the Transfiguration of Christ, a café, and a telecom tower. You can get great views of the island and sea from here.
