An iconic sight on the coast of Capri, the Faraglioni is a cluster of 3 limestone rock stacks in the Bay of Naples, soaring out dramatically from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The closest to the shore is Stella (109 metres), connected to the island by an isthmus. In the middle is the Faraglione di Mezzo (82 metres), with its stone archway. The Faraglione di Fuori or Scopolo (106 metres) is home to the rare blue lizard which cannot be found elsewhere in the world.

The other sea stack in the area is the Monacone, named after the sea cows or Monaci that once occupied these waters.
