Opened in 2006, the landmark building on the banks of the Brisbane River lies along the axis of Kurilpa Bridge and Tank Street leading to the Tower Mill. It showcases modern and contemporary Australian and international art, indigenous Australian art, as well as art of the Asia-Pacific region for visitors from around world.
