  • SND Historic Building on Hviezdoslav Square is a Neo-Renaissance-style structure designed by Helmer and Fellner in 1886 that hosts the National Theatre's opera and ballet productions. Its façade is adorned with busts of famous musical composers in oval niches on the colonnaded porch, surmounted by Friedl's sculptural ensemble centered around the Greek goddess of comedy and poetry, Muse of Thalia. It is flanked by Tilgner's figures of Cupid, with a mask and scepter on one corner depicting drama, and a lyre and laurel on the other corner representing music. The square in front has the Ganymede Fountain.
  • The SND New Building on Pribinova Street, designed by Martin Kusý, Pavol Paňák and Peter Bauer, has 3 main auditoriums - Opera and Ballet Hall, Drama Hall, Studio.
