Also known as the Blue Church, the Church of Saint Elizabeth is a Hungarian Secessionist style Catholic church dedicated to Elisabeth of Hungary, who grew up in the Pressburg Castle in Bratislava. Designed by Hungarian architect Ödön Lechner who was influenced by Gaudi, the brilliant white and blue Art Nouveau building has a 37 metre high tower at its north corner. The interiors in blue and gold are adorned with mosaics and majolica.
