Bratislava's Old Town Hall is a complex of historic buildings that was the administrative seat from the 15thto 19thcenturies, as well as a prison and mint at various times. It is the oldest City Hall in Slovakia, and oldest stone building in the city, dating back to 1370. It combines several adjacent medieval buildings from different periods – the 14thcentury Romanesque Jacobus' house with its 13thcentury tower, Pawer's house, Unger's house and the 18thcentury Apponyi Palace. Originally in Gothic style, it was renovated in Renaissance style in 1599 after being damaged by earthquake, and then in Baroque style following a fire in the 18th century. A Neo-Renaissance wing was added in 1912.

It is home to the Bratislava City Museum, showcasing various items from the city's history. The Apponyi Palace houses the Museum of Viticulture, and the Period Rooms Museum.
