The upper castle houses a permanent exhibition on 'Architectural Development of Devin Castle', tracing its history from the 11th to 19th centuries. High up on a cliff separated from this is a tiny watchtower, known as the Maiden Tower. It is named after the legends of imprisoned daughters leaping to their deaths from there.
