The 314 metre tall free-standing structure of Tallinn TV Tower is the tallest building in the city. Built to provide better telecommunication services for the 1980 Moscow Summer Olympics regatta event, it also has a viewing platform at a height of 170 metres which offers incredible views over the entire city and the forests of Muuga, all the way to the Gulf of Finland. Take one of the 2 lifts to the highest open observation deck in the Nordics, and experience the thrill of heights with a safety harness as part of the 'Walk on the Edge' attraction. The exhibition area at this level also has a glass floor which offers heart-stopping views of the ground below.
