Located in the Villa Greiner, the Musée Tomi Ungerer - International Center for Illustration is dedicated to the works of Strasbourg-born illustrator and author Tomi Ungerer.
Located in the Villa Greiner, the Musée Tomi Ungerer - International Center for Illustration is dedicated to the works of Strasbourg-born illustrator and author Tomi Ungerer. It houses a collection of 11,000 drawings, sketches, archives, and magazine works by Ungerer as well as his contemporaries such as Chaval, Saul Steinberg, Ronald Searle, and André François. It also has 6000 toys of various kinds such as mechanical toys, tin soldiers, board games and puzzles from his private collection. Spread over 3 floors, the works are thematically and chronologically arranged.
The garden of the villa is decorated with sculptures by Ungerer.
Admission is €6.50 for adults, and €3.50 for students and senior citizens over 60 years.
