The Gare de Strasbourg is the main railway station of Strasbourg, and worth seeing for its Wilhelminian period architecture.

The Gare de Strasbourg is the main railway station of Strasbourg, and worth seeing for its Wilhelminian period architecture. The neo-Renaissance central building is enclosed by a glass dome that was added by Jean-Marie Duthilleul in 2006-'07. The central hall has larger-than-life allegorical statues of 'Industry' and 'Agriculture' by Otto Geyer. The original luxurious Emperor's salons by Hermann Eggert have been converted into meeting rooms and offices.
