The Parc Zoologique Henri de Lunaret in Montpellier is one of the largest zoos in France, home to over 750 animals across 140 species on 60 hectares of lush greenery in the upper part of the Domaine de la Valette. Covered by thick Mediterranean garrigue and pine trees, it also has 8000 plants across 300 species. The zoo has African, South American, and Eurasian biozones, an educational farm for children, a nature reserve along the Lez River, and an Amazon greenhouse over 2600 m2 with 3500 tropical plants and a trail through lush rainforest. Explore the zoo to see anaconda, anteaters, armadillo, piranhas, white rhinoceros, otters, tapirs, and several other exotic animals.

Admission is €6.50 for adults, and €3 for children aged 6-18 years, students, and senior citizens over the age of 60. Discounts are available for large groups. Audio-guides are available for an additional €1.
