Built in 1987 to celebrate the 60th birthday of the present HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Rama IX Royal Park is the largest public park in Bangkok.

Built in 1987 to celebrate the 60th birthday of the present HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Rama IX Royal Park is the largest public park in Bangkok. It consists of six zones: the Homage to His Majesty, the Botanical Garden, the Trapangkaew Resevoir, the Rommaniya Garden, the Sanam Rasdara and the Water Garden.
