Albert Cuyp Market, Amsterdam

The Albert Cuyp Market on the Albert Cuypstraat runs from Ferdinand Bolstraat to Van Woustraat.

The Albert Cuyp Market on the Albert Cuypstraat runs from Ferdinand Bolstraat to Van Woustraat. The street market is one of the busiest markets in Amsterdam, lined with over 300 stalls selling fresh produce, baked goods, local delicacies, clothing, accessories and even electronics. It is one of the best places in the city for a taste of local cuisine as well as international foods. Sample some of their aged Gouda and other cheeses, Hollandse Nieuwe or raw herring with onions and pickled gherkin slices, and warm Poffertjes. The greatest draw, of course, is the stroopwafel stand in the middle of the market, that makes fresh crispy wafers with caramel filling right in front of you.
