Built specifically to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the Moses Mabhida Stadium immediately became an icon of Durban for its striking design and adventure sport offerings. Named after the former General Secretary of the South African Communist Party, the stadium has a capacity of 56,000 spectators and can be expanded to seat 80,000 persons if required. It hosts sporting competitions, matches, bungee jumping, concerts, and other events.

The SkyCar takes visitors up the stadium arch to a viewing point at a height of 106 metres, from where they can get panoramic views of the city and Indian Ocean. Alternately, you can climb the 500 step Adventure Walk to the top. Adrenalin junkies can try out the Big Rush Big Swing, the world’s tallest swing according to the Guinness Book of Records. Free fall over 60 metres into a 220 metre arc over the centre of the football pitch. Segway tours of the grounds and facilities are also available.
