Schnoor is the oldest quarter in Bremen, a medieval neighborhood with narrow cobbled lanes lined with quaint 15th - 16th century fachwerk (half-timbered) houses. Walk around to see well preserved landmarks such as the Shipper's House and Concordenhaus from 1630, the Amtsfischerhaus from 1759, and the Neo-Romanesque Landherrnamt from 1856. There are also lovely craft shops where you can pick up souvenirs.
