Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Belfast

The Ulster Folk Museum presents the traditional Irish lifestyle and culture, through the recreation of early 20th century town with homes, shops, workplaces, tea-room, churches and schools.

The Ulster Folk Museum presents the traditional Irish lifestyle and culture, through the recreation of early 20th century town with homes, shops, workplaces, tea-room, churches and schools. The Discovery Farm offers a glimpse of rural life from that era, exhibiting a rural landscape of farms, cottages, traditional crops, local breeds of livestock and blacksmith forge.

The Transport Museum explores the history and development of different modes of transportation by land, sea and air. It has the largest railway collection in Ireland, along with horse-drawn carriages, vintage automobiles, a Titanic exhibition, electric trams and fire-engines. Its most famous exhibit is the De Lorean DMC-12 car, which featured in the Back to the Future trilogy.
