The free Outdoor Gardens are themed around plants important to Singapore history and culture. The Gardens houses two conservatories, one simulating a dry-climate area and the other for more tropical plants. Supertrees tower over the rest of the Gardens, built to mimic real-life trees using technology such as solar cells. Two of the larger ones are linked by the OCBC Skyway, giving visitors a 50m view off the the ground. There are also light shows at night.

Gardens by the Bay is a large nature park located in the heart of Singapore, adjacent to Marina Reservoir. The park spans 101 hectares of reclaimed land, making it one of the largest green spaces in the city-state.

One of the most iconic features of Gardens by the Bay is the Supertree Grove, which comprises 18 steel-framed vertical gardens that range from 25 to 50 meters in height. The Supertrees are adorned with more than 162,900 plants from over 200 species, including ferns, orchids, and tropical climbers. The Supertrees also provide shade during the day and light up at night with a stunning display of colors.

Another popular attraction in the Gardens is the Flower Dome, which is the largest glass greenhouse in the world. The Flower Dome houses a vast collection of plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid regions, and visitors can view flowers like tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths, as well as olive trees, cacti, and succulents. The Cloud Forest, on the other hand, features a 35-meter tall mountain covered in mist and lush vegetation, and visitors can take an elevator to the top to enjoy panoramic views of the Gardens and the city beyond.

Gardens by the Bay is a popular destination for visitors to Singapore. In 2019, the Gardens attracted over 50 million visitors, making it one of the most visited tourist attractions in the city-state. The Gardens also received numerous awards and accolades, including the Best Attraction Experience award at the Singapore Tourism Awards in 2018.
