As the name indicates, the Museum of Flight is an air and space museum at the southern end of King County International Airport or Boeing Field which houses over 175 aircraft and spacecraft including 28 World War I and World War II aircraft from countries such as Germany, Russia, and Japan. Building No 105 or Red Barn, built in 1909 as Boeing's original manufacturing plant, has been preserved as part of the complex. Also on display are flight simulators, models, related artifacts, rare photographs, and other fun, interactive exhibits. Highlights include an SR-71, a supersonic Concorde, the only full-scale NASA Space Shuttle Trainer, Boeing 247D from 1933, Apollo 17 Lunar Module mock-up, and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
