Waiting for the Interurban is a cast aluminum sculptural ensemble by Richard Beyer depicting five people and a dog waiting for the trolley that has not existed since the 1930s. The face of the dog resembles local political activist and honorary Mayor of Fremont Armen Stepanian, who had public spats with Beyer. The statues are frequently clothed in seasonal wear by local residents.
