There are snow leopards, meerkats, sea lions, giraffe, hippopotamus, okapis, antelopes, zebras, elephants, rhinos and various others. The Etosha house is a recreation of the Namibian savannah with cheetahs, lions and wild dogs while the Sauter Garden has Asian animals. There is a free-flight aviary with colorful birds such as the ibis, paradise tanager, parrot, toucan, turaco, laughing thrush, and finch.
