The Moraga Street Stairs, formally the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps Project, comprise a colorful mosaic added during a 2005 renovation of the stairs, inspired by the Santa Teresa Steps in Rio de Janeiro. Running up the risers of 163 steps, the artwork was a joint effort by the community to beautify the neighborhood. Climb to the top for breathtaking views over San Francisco. You can further take the wooden steps into Grand View Park.
