Angel Island State Park is the largest island in the San Francisco Bay, with hiking trails, biking trails, picnic areas, and fishing and boating waters. Ferries depart from Pier 41 in San Francisco, and reach Angel Island in 25-45 minutes. Trek up to Point Livermore, the highest point on the island, for breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline, the Marin Headlands and Mount Tamalpais.
