The Panorama Museum has a large installation of an enormous round painting on a circumference of 26 metres that presents a view of the historic city of Salzburg and its surroundings. Painted by Sattler in the 19th century, the panorama envelopes around a viewing platform with binoculars through which visitors can get a better look of the details of the painting, which showcases the life of Salzburg's residents from that era.
