The Santa Croce in Gerusalemme or Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem is one of the Seven Pilgrim Churches in Rome, with a great collection of relics of the Passion of the Christ from the Holy Land. On display in the Chapel of the Holy Relics are fragments of the True Cross and one of the nails used in the Crucifixion brought to Rome by St Helen, and the Titulus Crucis or Title of the Cross - the wooden tablet of the Cross. The basilica also displays a full-size replica of the Shroud of Turin, and a shrine containing the remains of Venerable Antonietta Meo (1930-37), also known as Nennolina, who displayed heroic virtues in her short life.
