Coronet Peak is a 1649 metre tall mountain with a popular skiing resort on its southern slopes. With a long snow season that typically lasts from early June to mid-October, it hosts several international ski races. It has trails for skiers of all levels, from beginners (Big Easy, Gentle Annie and Turquoise), through intermediate (M1, Greengates and Shirtfront) to expert (The Hurdle, Exchange Drop and the Back Bowls). Its undulating terrain is also good for snowboarding and tubing.
